Guess the world

Every question is worth up to 1,000 points. The closer your guess, the more you score - and the highest total takes the crown đź‘‘.

How you answer

Flags, capitals & borders

Pick one of four options - or switch a category to typing for a proper test.

Estimates

Drag the slider to guess a number: population, land area, distance apart.

Pin the map

Drop a pin. The closer you land the better - inside the country is full marks.

Rank them

Drag places into order by population. Mostly right still earns partial credit.

Higher or lower

Two places, one metric - just call which one comes out on top.

Odd one out

Three share a trait, one doesn’t. Spot the impostor.

Name it

Clues drop one by one - name the country early for more points.

Border hopper

Hop country to country across shared borders. Fewer hops, higher score.

How scoring works

  • Closer guesses score higher - a bullseye is the full 1,000.
  • Quick rounds (choice, higher/lower, odd one out) pay a speed bonus.
  • On Name it, the fewer clues you use, the more points you keep.
  • No penalty for a wrong pick, so always take a swing.
